Abstract:The 2008 Constitution of the Republic, developed in Montecristi, upholds that peace and justice are a constitutional right. Therefore, we will have the pleasure of studying the Constitutional Court's ruling in this integrative project of knowledge. This is closely related to Sustainable Development Goal No. 16, Peace and Social Justice. Therefore, it is opportune to state that peace and justice are objectives that are increasingly threatened in our national territory due to the lack of commitment of some judges who do not administer justice as it should be, and even more so when they do not safeguard the rights of children. This is further complicated by the growing wave of violence our country is experiencing, coupled with the economic, social, and political crisis we are experiencing. It is becoming difficult to meet the national development goals, since there is no integrity in the actions of those who govern us, much less do they care about the lives and sustainability of the population, and therefore we cannot live in an environment of peace and social justice.
