Abstract

Abstract: This work studies Constitutional Law, to verify and control how the legal system is applied regarding the attention to recognition of the right to food for pregnant women in ruling No. 325-23-EP/23 of August 30, 2023 issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, and analyze how lower and higher jurisdictional bodies implement regulations in compliance with the Constitution and legal norms, to measure the quality of access to justice. As well as, knowing the affirmative actions that Constitutional Law allows to obtain towards the support and strength of Sustainable Development Goal 16, to consolidate strong and safe judicial institutions, which promote, through their resolutions, societies that respect and defend individual rights. And to study the current state, advances and regressions of public policies and goals adopted by the Ecuadorian Government to reinforce the scope of SDG 16, through the participation of the Government, public institutions, private institutions and civil society, as well as the participation and /or international cooperation, to verify the sustainability of the SDG and its results towards Ecuadorian social transformation.
