| Abstract: | Abstract:Design proposal for a temporary care center and shelter for migrants, which will be developed under adaptive reuse criteria that prioritize the renovation and reuse of heritage infrastructure. The proposal seeks to renovate and adapt a mid-19th-century heritage home, thereby preserving and revitalizing the building's historical value and transforming it into a functional and accessible space that effectively responds to the specific needs of people on the move. The project addresses the specific demands of migrants and also seeks to integrate contemporary architectural strategies that respect the building's historical character. |
| Description: | Resumen: Propuesta de diseño de un centro de atención y albergue temporal para migrantes, el cual se desarrollará bajo criterios de reutilización adaptativa que prioricen la renovación y el re-uso de la infraestructura patrimonial. La propuesta busca realizar la intervención y adaptación de una vivienda patrimonial de mediados del siglo XIX, a efectos por tanto de conservar y revitalizar el valor histórico de la edificación, sino también convertirla en un espacio funcional y accesible que responda de manera efectiva a las necesidades específicas de las personas en situación de movilidad humana. El proyecto aborda las demandas particulares de los migrantes, además, busca la integración de estrategias arquitectónicas contemporáneas que respeten el carácter histórico del inmueble. |
