Recreación de los petroglifos de Loja mediante modelado en 3D

Abstract

Abstract:The petroglyphs of Loja possess fascinating graphic design. Their organic lines lend themselves to multiple interpretations. For this reason, this thesis proposes developing 3D models based on the iconography of these petroglyphs using the digital tool Blender. This project is based on bibliographic research on the petroglyphs of Loja province conducted by the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL). A bibliographic review was also conducted to obtain information on 3D modeling programs, holograms, and their various uses. The research on the rock art remains of Loja allowed for a complete shift in perspective regarding this type of vulnerable cultural heritage. It also conceived the exploration of new ways of presenting and preserving historical information through digital media, combining art, technology, and history.
