Abstract

Abstract: This degree work has been developed with the objective of analyzing ruling No. 1158-17-EP/21 issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, and its connection with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the academic preferences of students. of the Law career. For this, the methodology used consisted of the systematic method, also due to its orientation to the process of reviewing jurisprudence, legal norms and doctrine, it is theoretical - deductive; Because it integrates a link between Law and social and economic phenomena, it has a socio-legal character. Where the analysis and synthesis method was also applied, due to the analysis carried out on the sentence in question. Among the main results, it is evident that the resolution is linked to SDG 16, since it promotes the protection of rights, mainly access to justice, where it also induces the adequate motivation that the sentences must contain, among others aspects.
