Miradas hacia la Amazonía: sendero-mirador en el cerro Yamila de la ciudad de Zamora

Abstract

Abstract: Every architectural project is intrinsically linked to the natural environment, which is essential to the design concept and cannot be omitted under any circumstances. It is always imperative to respect and harmonize with the environment, ensuring the preservation of the site and the protection of its natural features. Based on in-depth topographical knowledge and a detailed understanding of the landscape, this work aims to create an architectural proposal for a viewpoint on Yamila Hill. This structure seeks to enrich the area with a short meeting point and a panoramic space, with the purpose of enhancing the beauty of the Amazonian landscape and promoting tourism through hiking. To achieve this, similar cases are studied to develop intervention strategies and criteria. A complete analysis of the territory is conducted, encompassing both distant contexts and those close to the specific site of analysis. Upon conclusion, a design is proposed that adapts to the needs and capabilities of the land in question.
