Determinantes en el acceso al financiamiento en las microempresas del Ecuador, en la provincia de Pichincha, Cantón Mejía año 2025

Abstract

Abstract: This research project aims to analyze the determinants that influence access to financing for microenterprises in the Mejía canton, located in the province of Pichincha, Ecuador. The research is based on the theoretical foundations of several authors, which allowed for a comparative analysis of the results obtained from the field research. It was determined that several factors, such as credit history, availability of collateral, length of business operation, payment capacity, debt level, among others, influence access to adequate financing and are presented as constraints on the growth and sustainability of microenterprises (commerce, production, agriculture, livestock). It should be noted that this research seeks to contribute to the design of inclusive public policies and financial strategies that promote local economic development and encourage the formalization and legalization of businesses, thereby improving access to financing for microentrepreneurs in the canton.
