| dc.description | Resumen:El presente trabajo de integración curricular centró su estudio en el análisis de los factores financieros que influyen en la rentabilidad de las Pymes del sector de transporte terrestre (H492) en Ecuador. Está basado en el análisis de las variables liquidez, endeudamiento, tamaño, edad, y su relación con indicadores de rentabilidad ROA y el ROE. Se empleo un enfoque cuantitativo utilizando el análisis de regresión lineal múltiple, a una muestra de 84 PYMES. Los principales hallazgos demostraron la variable edad que tuvo una relación negativa y muy significativa con la rentabilidad, es decir que, a mayor antigüedad, la rentabilidad es menor. De este modo, el endeudamiento presentó una relación negativa significativa con el ROE y ROA, afectando al rendimiento económico. En contraste, las variables liquidez y tamaño no resultaron significativas en la explicación de la rentabilidad. Por tanto, se propone mejorar la gestión financiera de las PYMES analizadas, con énfasis en el control del endeudamiento y modernización de las empresas más antiguas. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract:This curriculum integration project focused on the analysis of the financial factors that influence the profitability of SMEs in the land transportation sector (H492) in Ecuador. It is based on the analysis of the variables liquidity, debt, size, and age, and their relationship with profitability indicators such as ROA and ROE. A quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis was used on a sample of 84 SMEs. The main findings showed that the variable age had a negative and highly significant relationship with profitability, meaning that the older the company, the lower the profitability. Thus, debt had a significant negative relationship with ROE and ROA, affecting economic performance. In contrast, the variables liquidity and size were not significant in explaining profitability. Therefore, it is proposed to improve the financial management of the SMEs analyzed, with emphasis on debt control and modernization of older companies. | es_ES |
