Terapia psicológica eficaz para el tratamiento de niños y adolescentes víctimas de acoso escolar: Revisión sistemática a partir de la experiencia práctica

Abstract

Abstract: This curriculum integration project addressed the problems of children and adolescents who were victims of bullying, which were identified during pre-professional internships in the field of clinical psychology. Based on this observation, a research question was posed. Following this, a systematic review of the scientific literature was conducted to determine what would be an effective psychological therapy for this population. The psychotherapeutic approach that presented favorable evidence was Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), primarily due to its ability to identify and change negative thoughts, increase self-esteem, and reduce avoidance behaviors, among others. Therefore, based on this evidence, a simulated clinical case was constructed of a child who suffered bullying from his peers. This case included the techniques and strategies selected for this treatment, which demonstrate a high level of effectiveness and are adapted to his context. In this way, this work allowed us to connect practical experiences with scientific literature, promoting the use of well-founded approaches to caring for children and adolescents who are victims of bullying.
