Abstract

Abstract: This research approaches the preferences of academic subjects of Law students and their connection with the Sustainable Development Goals -SDG- through the study of judgments. For the present case, the analysis of Judgment No. 983-18-JP / 21 was carried out, which was accepted by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, which is related to SDG No. 3 Health and Well-being, compiling in the judgment several legal arguments referring to the right to Health, and other human rights, which allowed to obtain and deepen important knowledge in the legal field. The conceptual and doctrinal analysis and research of the rights protected by SDG No. 3 such as the right to health, the right to life, the right to sexual and reproductive health and the right to social security and the analysis of laws that supported the violation of rights in the ruling, allowed me to understand their relationship and at the same time become aware of the situation and the treatment given to children and vulnerable people.
