| Abstract: | Abstract: By identifying the factors associated with burnout in formal caregivers in the city of Nueva Loja, province of Sucumbíos, during the year 2024. The study was carried out with a non-experimental quantitative approach, with a cross-sectional-descriptive design in 34 formal health caregivers, whose data were obtained using questionnaires that evaluate various aspects of the well-being and job performance of health professionals, which include questions about personal data, workload, mental health and professional satisfaction, which are: Ad-Hoc Sociodemographic and Work Questionnaire, Zarit Caregiver Overload Scale, General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12), Stamm's Professional Quality of Life Scale (ProQOL V), Empathy Burnout Inventory (IDE), and the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), where the burden, burnout and levels of burnout in formal caregivers were identified, evaluated and determined. Therefore, the data analysis was presented in percentages and averages, yielding encouraging results. Likewise, the small percentage of caregivers who experience low or mild levels of burnout are recommended to take proactive measures to address this issue. |
| Description: | Resumen: Al identificar los factores asociados al desgaste en cuidadores formales en la ciudad de Nueva Loja, provincia de Sucumbíos, durante el año 2024. Se realizó el estudio con un enfoque cuantitativo no experimental, con diseño transversal-descriptiva en 34 cuidadores formales de la salud, cuyos datos se obtuvieron utilizando cuestionarios que evalúan diversos aspectos del bienestar y desempeño laboral de los profesionales de la salud, donde incluye preguntas sobre datos personales, carga laboral, salud mental y satisfacción profesional, los cuales son: Cuestionario Sociodemográfico y Laboral Ad-Hoc, Escala de Sobrecarga del Cuidador de Zarit, Cuestionario de Salud General (GHQ-12), Escala sobre la calidad de vida profesional (ProQOL V) de Stamm, Inventario de Desgaste por Empatía (IDE), y el Inventario de Burnout de Maslach (MBI), donde se identificó, evalúo y determinó la carga, el desgaste y los niveles de burnout en los cuidadores formales. Por ende, el análisis de datos fue representado en porcentajes y medias, dejando resultados motivadores. Así mismo, al pequeño porcentaje de cuidadores que presentan niveles bajos o leves de desgaste se recomienda tomar medidas proactivas para abordar esta problemática. |
