Abstract

Abstract:This Curricular Integration Work analyzes the academic preferences developed during the training in the Law Career at UTPL, in order to identify the legal areas that motivate a future professional specialization. The general objective of the study is to know the factors that influence these personal choices, considering both the affinity with certain branches of Law and their impact on the solution of global legal problems. Through the study of a ruling issued by the Ecuadorian Constitutional Court linked to the right to personal integrity, this preference is related to Sustainable Development Goal No. 16, Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions . The work also evaluates the role of the competencies acquired in the career, their usefulness in future professional practice, and how these can encourage greater social responsibility. This exercise of academic and practical reflection makes it possible to project the contribution of law graduates in strengthening the justice system and promoting fairer and more inclusive societies.
