Abstract

Abstract: This research analyzes the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Development Goal 16, which focuses on promoting peaceful and inclusive societies, facilitating access to justice for all people and building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. The analysis of the chosen sentence focuses mainly on access to justice and the factor of inclusion, since in our country, the exercise of justice is not completely impartial or objective but rather shows the opposite, despite the fact that within the Constitution of the Republic there are countless articles and principles that highlight the figure of justice and compliance with due process, to ensure a defense and avoid defenselessness. Additionally, it is vital to emphasize the indigenous justice which is part of this approach in which an elderly person was arbitrarily excluded from his property and was unjustly not taken into account for the decisions established by an indigenous community, a circumstance contrary to what is determined in the Constitution and that goes against Human Rights.
