| Abstract: | Abstract:This paper analyzes the preferences in specific areas of legal science as a student of the UTPL Law School and its relationship with the solution of global legal problems under the perspective of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG No. 16, through a systematic, exploratory and projective approach, integrating the analysis of jurisprudence. The topic of preference is Human Rights (HR), linked to SDG No. 16. In this sense, access to justice, legal security and effective judicial protection are analyzed, rights protected in the judgment Órdenes Guerra y Otros Vs Chile , issued by the Inter American Court of Human Rights (IACHR Court), whose ruling allows addressing legal aspects of the statute of limitations for civil actions for reparation for crimes against humanity, during the Chilean dictatorship. The results show how human rights and justice are transformative tools that transcend the academic sphere to have an impact on the lives of citizens. Thus, it can be determined that a comprehensive, ethical and practical legal education is vital to solve legal problems. |
| Description: | Resumen: Este trabajo analiza las preferencias en áreas específicas de la ciencia jurídica como estudiante de la Carrera de Derecho de la UTPL y su relación con la solución de problemas jurídicos globales bajo la perspectiva de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), específicamente el No 16. Mediante un enfoque sistemático, exploratorio y proyectivo, integrando el análisis de la jurisprudencia. La asignatura de preferencia es Derechos Humanos (DD.HH.), la cual se vincula con el ODS No 16. En este sentido, se analiza el acceso a la justica, la seguridad jurídica y la tutela judicial efectiva, derechos tutelados en la sentencia Órdenes Guerra y Otros Vs Chile , dictada por la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos (Corte-IDH), cuyo dictamen permite abordar aspectos jurídicos de la prescripción a acciones civiles de reparación por crímenes de lesa humanidad, durante la dictadura chilena. Los resultados muestran como los DD.HH. y la justicia son herramientas transformadoras que trascienden el ámbito académico para impactar en la vida de los ciudadanos. Entonces se puede determinar que una formación jurídica integral, ética y práctica es vital para solucionar problemas jurídicos. |
