Abstract

Abstract: The present investigative work was based on analyzing the Sustainable Development Goal number 8, which aims to promote decent work and economic growth, through the study of sentences. This research focused on analyzing the legal procedures related to labor rights in Ecuador, with the aim of understanding and correctly applying the laws that protect them. Despite the fact that the Constitution and the Labor Code adopt the protection of these rights, it has been identified that in many cases these rights are infringed due to actions or omissions by the beneficiaries or other parties involved. For its respective development, a judgment of the Constitutional Court was chosen in which the breach of the first transitory provision of the COESCOP was declared. The final purpose of this research was to acquire knowledge and tools that allow legal professionals to understand and effectively deal with situations in which labor rights are violated.
