Abstract: The present degree work known as: Academic preferences of law students and their connection with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the study of sentences, of the law degree, proposes research, study and analysis, through the relationship of the Constitutional Matter, through Sentence No. 2120-19-JP/21, of SDG No. 10. Reduce inequality in and between countries, and SDG No.16. Peace, justice and solid institutions, since due to their condition of being migrants and not bringing with them all the documentation to enter the country, three brothers file a protection action, with the aim of being allowed to reunite with their mother who already live in the country, in addition, it must be taken into account that when they entered the law it did allow their entry as refugees, but due to poor information, a new provision was allowed to come into force that affected their situation in the country, preventing their family reunification, a fact that affected their right to migrate.
