Abstract

Abstract: The present work is focused on the academic preferences of the students of the Law career of the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja, and its link with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), through the study of sentences No. 06101-2019-01938 appeal issued by the National Court of Justice, which is related to SDG No. 16 that seeks to promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies. The general objective of this research is to Know the factors that converge in the Graduate of the Law Career of the UTPL to develop preferences for specific areas of legal science and their future specialization in these. This research was carried out in the city of Quito, since the analyzed sentence is found in the Constitutional Court of the city, within this we used techniques such as the file to be able to collect the necessary information to achieve the objectives set, in addition to the methods used proved to be of great help by implementing the analysis and synthesis, theoretical-deductive, socio-legal, systematic and exegetical, which allowed us to maintain an order, the linkage with the Law to be able to perform a deeper analysis and verify the changes that have occurred. Finally, we can conclude that the factors and skills acquired throughout the course of study have allowed the correct development of this work, resulting in an adequate analysis of the sentence.
