Abstract

Abstract: This work revolves around the need to find tools that can be used for the comprehensive training of flute players, helping them to achieve significant changes when constructing a distinctive interpretation of the repertoire they study in their classes. The research has focused on determining the contribution of creating materials that combine theatrical elements to the comprehensive development of a musician. A qualitative methodology has been implemented, using data collection tools such as observation, observation sheets, and semi-structured interviews with a population of six people: a flute teacher, her four students, and a teacher specializing in theater. An interdisciplinary collaboration between music and theater is proposed so that the musician can break down technical and traditional barriers, addressing new themes that can be applied to their development as an artist.
