Desarrollo de una App móvil para el aprendizaje de la lengua kichwa

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this project is to develop a mobile application for learning the Kichwa language. The proposal recommends using a hybrid framework to develop an intuitive, user-friendly, and interactive system based on the same pedagogical foundation of the language's grammar and phonetics. The SCRUM methodology was implemented, allowing for agile and flexible development, with a constant process of analysis and improvement. The Usability Questionnaire (CSUQ) determined a score of 91%, which is considered excellent. In addition, accessibility verification also checked whether the application complies with the AA level of the WCAG protocols and can therefore be used by anyone, regardless of their abilities. The results show that the prototype developed for learning Kichwa meets the requirements of functionality, usability, accessibility, and performance, presenting itself as an effective tool for teaching Kichwa. It is concluded that the use of mobile technologies, together with adaptive pedagogical design, represents an effective strategy for the preservation of indigenous languages, offering an innovative resource that can be implemented in both formal and informal educational contexts.
