Abstract

Abstract: Ergonomics studies the relationship between human beings and work, optimizing efficiency and well-being, preventing injuries and improving comfort in the work environment, for a sustainable and healthy work environment. The ergonomic risks of the personnel of the Herbarium and Zoology Museum of the UTPL were quantified, through the use of videos, five minute recordings were made at an appropriate angle in the position where each technician is working, which were analyzed with the ErgoIA application. The appropriate posture was determined with the REBA method for upper body parts (arm, forearm and wrists), neck, back and legs, and at each 2eve lof the model was adjusted if it failed to recognize the posture that was maintained. It was shown that there are risks in the back, neck and legs in herbarium technicians and in the other members in museum technicians. The box diagram showed that museum technicians present higher ergonomic risks due to the different activities and postures they present, and the 2eve lof of variance determined that there are no significant differences between technicians. In 2eve lof2n, ergonomic risks present a significant 2eve lof in the well being and health of the personnel, it is necessary to make changes quickly if suggested by the score depending on the 2eve lof risk, thus protecting health and improving productivity and quality of life at work.
