Abstract

Abstract: This degree work analyzes the ruling No. 2622-17-EP/21 issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, in which the violation of rights to an illegal and arbitrary deprivation of freedom will be addressed, being in preventive detention, the right to physical integrity in the context of a riot in which he did not receive medical attention for more than two years, causing him a disability of 72%, leading him to lose the mobility of his legs, violating the right to be tried within a reasonable time in the first instance ruling and to due process in the guarantee of motivation. This sentence will be analyzed with the study of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), which are 17 global objectives that were adopted by the United Nations as a universal call that covers everything from poverty to environmental protection. in which I will cite (SDG) No. 16 Peace, Justice and Solid Institutions which this objective aims to be in a peaceful and inclusive society, access to justice for the entire population.
