Catarsis: creación de un cómic autorreferencial

Abstract

Abstract: Many people had traumatic moments during their childhood, especially within the family circle; It has generated emotional problems that are delicate to address in an environment of trust. The present work aims to convert the narration of personal experiences through a comic and demonstrate that art is a means of expression and catharsis. The research is based on a self referential perspective, aimed at creating a comic that reflects fragmented memories marked by violence. In addition, the fact of knowing the story in depth has made it easier to structure a script from which intimate memories are presented using a structure that, due to the emotional rhythm and a coherent aesthetic relationship between the story and the autobiographical content. As a result, a work has been obtained that aims to heal fear and release pain. Converting this work into a tool for emotional reconstruction, using a simple and direct graphic system that can later allow empathy.
