dc.description	Resumen:Al igual que todos los servidores públicos, los miembros de la Policía Nacional del Ecuador están sujetos a procedimientos disciplinarios cuando se encuentren inmersos en el cometimiento de infracciones. La Constitución de la República del Ecuador (2008) en el artículo 160, señala que Los miembros de la Policía Nacional estarán sujetos a leyes específicas que regulen sus derechos y obligaciones (..) serán juzgados por salas especializadas en materia militar y policial . Este régimen disciplinario especializado para el cometimiento de infracciones, debe respetar los Derechos y Garantías Constitucionales del debido proceso y todo lo que incluye, garantizar el debido proceso dentro de los ámbitos policiales no solo protege los derechos individuales, sino que fortalece la legitimidad del sistema disciplinario y del Estado de Derechos. El presente trabajo analizará el cumplimiento del debido proceso en aquellos procedimientos aplicados a policías, mediante el análisis de sus normas y la implementación a la práctica.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Abstract:Like all public servants, members of the Ecuadorian National Police are subject to disciplinary procedures when they commit infractions. Article 160 of the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador (2008) states that "Members of the National Police shall be subject to specific laws that regulate their rights and obligations (...) they shall be judged by specialized chambers in military and police matters." This specialized disciplinary regime for the commission of infractions must respect the Constitutional Rights and Guarantees of due process and everything that it includes. Guaranteeing due process within the police sphere not only protects individual rights but strengthens the legitimacy of the disciplinary system and the rule of law. This paper will analyze compliance with due process in those procedures applied to police officers, by analyzing their norms and implementing them in practice.	es_ES
