Abstract:In this project we will analyze the judgment of the Constitutional Court Number 168-19-EP/21 in which an extraordinary action of effective judicial protection is resolved, requested by Mr. Geovanny David Piña Bueno, because there was a violation of the rights to effective judicial protection, due process, legal certainty, the right to defense on equal terms requesting that the order issued on December thirteenth, two thousand eighteen be annulled. In this project we will see the great importance of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) linked to the judgment, for which we will focus on SDG Number sixteen which deals with peace, justice and strong institutions; seeking to ensure access to justice for all people regardless of gender, socioeconomic status, race protecting human rights and promoting, promoting human dignity. Further on we will be able to see the legal norms invoked in the sentence that are related to the violated rights, which will lead us to a favorable resolution and send the case to a new Court to continue with the appeal for review of the case, taking into account all the parameters established in the sentence.
