dc.descriptionResumen: El presente trabajo de investigación analiza críticamente la Sentencia No. 1965-18-EP/21 en relación con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, especialmente el ODS 16, que promueve la paz, la justicia e instituciones sólidas examinando el impacto de esta resolución en el fortalecimiento del sistema judicial ecuatoriano, resaltando su contribución a la protección de derechos y su alineación con principios internacionales de justicia. La metodología utilizada fue un análisis cualitativo de la sentencia y referencias normativas. Se halló que la sentencia refuerza el sistema de justicia en la restitución de derechos, aunque se identificaron áreas de mejora en la proporcionalidad y consistencia argumentativa, la importancia de resoluciones como esta para un sistema judicial accesible y transparentemente responsable que cumpla con objetivos de justicia social y equidad, destacando su relevancia para el desarrollo sostenible y los derechos humanos en Ecuador.es_ES
dc.description.abstractAbstract: This research paper critically analyzes Ruling No. 1965-18-EP/21 in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG 16, which promotes peace, justice and strong institutions by examining the impact of this ruling on the strengthening of the Ecuadorian judicial system, highlighting its contribution to the protection of rights and its alignment with international principles of justice. The methodology used was a qualitative analysis of the ruling and normative references. It was found that the judgment strengthens the justice system in the restitution of rights, although areas for improvement were identified in the proportionality and argumentative consistency, the importance of resolutions such as this one for an accessible and transparently accountable judicial system that meets the objectives of social justice and equity, highlighting its relevance for sustainable development and human rights in Ecuador.es_ES
