Abstract

Abstract: It is essential to determine that the right to health is constituted as a human right that must be guaranteed by the State, because through it a healthy life can be guaranteed and well-being for all ages promoted, which is why objective 3 of sustainable development determines the importance of not only giving access to the right, it is also necessary and effective for the State to be able to integrate public health policies that allow citizens to have real and effective access to medical needs according to their conditions and that this currently constitutes one of the greatest challenges that the public health system has in Ecuador because citizens cannot currently obtain an efficient health service and access free of charge to safe medications to guarantee a dignified life according to their medical condition, which clearly shows the need for an effective integration of policies between objective 3 of sustainable development and what is contemplated in our current constitution.
