Abstract: The Curricular Integration work entitled Academic preferences of Law students and their connection with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) through the study of sentences allows us to understand how the SDGs are related to sentence number 2971-18- EP/20 issued by the constitutional court of Ecuador, in which the violation of constitutional rights such as effective Judicial Protection and Legal Security caused by the non-compliance of constitutional representatives in a contentious tax process between the Ecudro customs and a company ABBOT LABORATORIOS DEL ECUADOR CIA. LTD. The exhaustive analysis of SDG 16 is essential to understand how the administrators of justice by incorrectly interpreting judicial decisions affect the fundamental rights of both natural and private persons. This sentence identifies two key rights violated in the proposed case as it is. : Effective Judicial Guardianship and Legal Security, both if applied correctly could allow a correct state of law in addition to complying com the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development. Therefore, in this work it is very important to address the significant relationship that SDG 16 has with the Object of Study sentence in such a way that it contributes to living in a more peaceful and just country.
