Abstract

Abstract: This dissertation analyzes a relevant judgment and its relationship with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16, which seeks to promote peaceful societies, ensure access to justice and strengthen inclusive and effective institutions. This study examines the background, rationale and decisions adopted in the selected judgment, assessing its impact on strengthening the rule of law, respect for fundamental rights and the construction of a fairer and more accessible judicial system. Through a critical approach, it highlights how the judgment contributes to the fulfillment of SDG Nro. 16 by guaranteeing equality, protecting human rights and promoting institutional transparency. The paper also analyzes the practical implications of judicial decisions, emphasizing their ability to correct structural misalignments and promote citizen confidence in justice. This analysis provides a comprehensive view of the importance of public law as a tool for consolidating constitutional principles and the global goals of sustainable development, providing an argumentative basis that reinforces the need for judicial decisions that have a positive impact on society and strengthen democratic institutions.
