Abstract

Abstract:The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), established at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, provide a framework for social and environmental action, protection, and intervention. The Sustainable Development Goals have a clear purpose, which focuses on providing a quality and dignified life, protecting fundamental rights. Therefore, their relationship with Human Rights is of utmost importance, as both safeguard, protect, and uphold fundamental rights and principles of equity, justice, and human dignity. The selected objective number 15 is binding with the studied sentence because both aim to provide a dignified life and seek to protect the environment, conserve terrestrial ecosystems, address the sustainability of forests, stop the loss of biodiversity, combat desertification, therefore, it is essential to mention that the environment currently plays a very important role within our society, since it is considered a subject of rights, where we seek to form and promote more inclusive, equitable and sustainable societies.
