Abstract: The sustainability of development that meets the needs of the present withoutcompromising the capacity of future generations, guaranteeing the balance between economic growth, care of the environment and social well-being, is the goal of a safe, free society and comes from ethical values. and morals that develop in the legal field and under the principles of participation and opportunity. This guidance establishes the creation of Sustainable Development Goals No. 5, which has a focus aimed at achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls, using law enforcement, various public policies, national plans and various concrete actions that seek to guarantee gender equality in a well-founded way, so that no space in this Ecuadorian society is left without knowing that discrimination is something that is not allowed in the midst of permanent development and that is protected by the administration of justice, this being the case, a sentence that was declared by the Plenary Session of the Constitutional Court is analyzed and resolved in favor of the plaintiff, a legal professional who was prevented from carrying out her work due to her clothing to enter a social rehabilitation center.
