Abstract

Abstract: This paper is framed within Sustainable Development Goal 16, which aims to foster just, peaceful, and inclusive societies. This goal promotes equitable access to justice by strengthening effective, transparent, and accountable institutions at all levels of society. An analysis of the ruling by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador reveals several violated rights, such as nonexistent equality before the law, uncompromising quality of justice, and inaccessible protections and access to a hearing. This work promotes guarantees against exclusion to maintain and uphold a sociable, egalitarian, and fair justice system. To contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, the National Plan for Good Living is established as a fundamental tool that guarantees the protection and effective exercise of citizens' rights through the application of key strategies and the execution of projects relevant to the country's development. This work is based on a comprehensive, analytical approach that incorporates syntactic research techniques and bibliographic review, with the goal of achieving a rigorous and in-depth approach to the topic.
