Abstract

Abstract:Context and objective of the study: This study aims to describe and analyze how Basic Education teachers can perceive the use of innovative teaching strategies to promote critical thinking in their students. Nowadays, it is important that the teaching and learning process promotes reflection, in order to achieve significant learning. Method: A mixed approach was used, which integrates quantitative and qualitative techniques with the purpose of achieving a better vision of what educational institutions are based on, the strategies must be well structured in order to achieve a good result. Conclusion: We are sure that this research allowed us to better understand how teachers currently work, we were able to analyze more completely and draw clearer conclusions that could support future research and improve teaching strategies.
