Abstract: A digestive shot was formulated that harnessed the natural properties of pennyroyal, black pennyroyal, and chamomile. The active components were extracted through maceration in alcohol, and different mixtures were experimented with until three final formulations were achieved. During the testing period, their organoleptic qualities were evaluated, and these were subjected to laboratory analysis to validate their safety and shelf life. The highest-rated formulation was the one that combined all three plants, taking advantage of their properties and achieving the best approval from the tasting panel. This development not only represents an advance in functional beverages but also highlights the value of our native plants and recovers ancestral wisdom about their medicinal benefits. This research demonstrates that it is possible to create innovative and healthy products by leveraging the richness of our local biodiversity.
