Abstract

Abstract: This research addresses digital literacy among teachers in higher education, specifically in online courses in Religion and Social Sciences and Humanities Education in 2025. The objective of the study was to analyze the level of digital literacy among teachers in order to develop a training proposal aimed at strengthening their digital teaching practices. It was developed using a mixed approach, with a non-experimental descriptive design. The population consisted of online university teachers, working with the entire population. The main technique used was a survey, and the tool used was Google Forms, in which the questionnaire was applied, validating both the university teaching population and the adequacy of reliability. The data were processed using descriptive statistical analysis. Among the main findings, it was identified that the majority of teachers are at a high and very high level in the dimensions evaluated, especially in the use of digital tools, planning through virtual platforms, and a favorable attitude toward technological innovation.
