dc.description	Resumen:La investigación trata sobre la motivación en las sentencias de jueces de primer nivel en Ecuador como garantía del debido proceso. El objetivo general fue examinar y valorar la motivación suficiente y adecuada en tales decisiones. Se llevó a cabo en la Unidad Judicial de Trabajo de Cuenca, provincia del Azuay, revisando la sentencia 01371-2020-01200 fija requisitos de justificación por despido injustificado. Se aplicó el método analítico de motivación de sentencias, con esquematización de razonamientos, test de suficiencia, test de correcta motivación y bases de datos jurisprudenciales. Se determina que la motivación es base de legitimidad judicial y que debe ser explícita y coherente para evitar la arbitrariedad.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Abstract:This research addresses the motivation in first-level judges' rulings in Ecuador as a guarantee of due process. The overall objective was to examine and assess the sufficient and adequate motivation in such decisions. It was conducted in the Labor Court of Cuenca, Azuay Province, reviewing ruling 01371-2020-01200, which establishes requirements for justification of wrongful dismissal. The analytical method of ruling motivation was applied, including schematization of reasoning, sufficiency tests, tests of correct motivation, and jurisprudential databases. It is determined that motivation is the basis of judicial legitimacy and must be explicit and coherent to avoid arbitrariness.	es_ES
