Abstract

Abstract: This study analyzed curriculum planning based on interdisciplinary projects in the high school program of the "26 de Noviembre" Educational Unit in the Zaruma canton. The work was carried out using a quantitative methodology with an interpretive philosophy and a hermeneutic approach. A survey of 162 teachers and students was conducted. The research sought to evaluate the design, implementation, and perceptions of microcurricular planning based on interdisciplinary projects. The results demonstrate that the curriculum design is technically coherent and fosters collaborative work, but its effectiveness is limited by unrealistic time management and insufficient technological infrastructure. The main contribution of this work lies in demonstrating that pedagogical innovation goes beyond teacher vocation or the structure of the plan, but rather is fundamentally.
