Preferencias académicas de los estudiantes de la carrera de Derecho y su vinculación con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) a través del estudio de sentencias

Abstract

Abstract: This research analyzed the academic preferences of law students and their alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 8, based on an analysis of labor court rulings issued between 2015 and 2024 by national judicial bodies. It was a systematic and theoretical-deductive study, prioritizing binding decisions. Ruling 1894-19-EP/24 was reviewed, in which a violation of the right to effective judicial protection was observed due to an incorrect interpretation of the labor statute of limitations. The results showed that the skills acquired through training in labor law are essential for addressing contemporary challenges such as job insecurity and limitations in access to justice. It was also identified that the COVID-19 pandemic led to the incorporation of educational technologies and fostered the consolidation of legal education. The study highlighted the need to articulate the curriculum design and the 2030 Agenda, in favor of training oriented towards social co-responsibility, critical analysis of the subject matter, and extensive knowledge of the ever-changing socio-legal context.
