Propuesta arquitectónica de un prototipo de vivienda rural para la provincia de Loja a partir del análisis evolutivo de sus tipologías habitacionales

Abstract

Abstract: This research presents an architectural design proposal for a rural dwelling located in the rural parish of El Cisne, in the La Ramada sector, within the city of Loja. The base prototype is developed from an analysis of rural housing based on previously studied concepts and strategies, taking into account the physical, topographical, environmental, and social context of the site, in order to respond to user needs and promote appropriate integration with the rural environment. The study of the typological evolution of rural housing identifies spatial, functional, and constructive transformations over time, as well as aspects that have remained stable in relation to local culture, climate, economy, and ways of life. For the development of the proposal, the methodology of intermediary spaces is applied, structured in three phases. Through this approach, design criteria are analyzed to articulate the exterior interior relationship, social context, climatic conditions, topography, and the efficient and flexible use of spaces, including complementary services annexed to the dwelling. The proposal seeks to reinterpret the typology of traditional rural housing in the sector from a contemporary perspective, generating an architectural solution that is more integrated, environmentally responsive, and less evasive of its natural surroundings. Its objective is to provide solutions to design, functional, structural, and climatic challenges, while promoting the responsible use of natural resources characteristic of the rural context.
