Abstract: The objective of this research was to design and implement a perimeter security architecture to optimize the management, control, and monitoring of security events at Vidanova. The PPDIOO methodology was applied to structure the preparation, planning, design, implementation, operation, and optimization phases of the proposed solution. Based on the organization's requirements, an architecture was designed using the UniFi platform, integrating VLAN-based network segmentation, IEEE 802.1X authentication with the integrated RADIUS service, firewall policies, an Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDS/IPS), content filtering, and centralized monitoring. The architecture was validated through ten test scenarios and the analysis of records generated by UniFi Network, achieving a 95% authentication success rate, 100% rejection of invalid credentials, and the blocking of 9,110 events by firewall policies. The results demonstrated the proper functioning of the implemented security mechanisms and confirmed that the proposed solution strengthened the organization's technological infrastructure through a defense-in-depth approach.es_ES
