Creación de una dramaturgia basada en la novela La Emancipada (1863) de Miguel Riofrío con el modelo Aristotélico

Abstract

Abstract: This curricular integration project synthesizes the knowledge accumulated over four years of academic training, presenting an analysis of a highly relevant social issue: the oppression of women by the patriarchal and colonial system in the 19th century. This study has facilitated a direct approach to the reality faced by women who lived under the dominion of their fathers and social oppression during that era, constituting the fundamental axis for the dramaturgical adaptation of the novel *La Emancipada*, based on the Aristotelian model. This research aspires to generate a constructive social impact, considering that in Loja there are still women who confront the moral, religious, and political customs used to keep women subjugated under the figure of the "weaker sex," condemning any attempt at female independence. Simultaneously, it seeks to promote the production of original literary works within the local artistic sphere; despite Loja's recognition as a cradle of artists, a notable lack of original writing is observed. Similarly, the novel's approach aims to foster collective reflection that promotes social criticism and the fight for female emancipation, moving from the written page to the immediacy and visual impact of the theatrical stage, becoming a dramaturgical reference for original scripts for future generations of artists.
