| dc.description | Resumen: La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar los estilos de conducción, la salud mental y el consumo de alcohol en conductores motorizados de Cotacachi. El estudio adoptó un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo y diseño no experimental transversal, con una muestra de 27 conductores profesionales. Se aplicaron el MDSI, el GHQ-28 y el AUDIT. Los resultados evidenciaron que el estilo adaptativo cauteloso obtuvo la puntuación más alta (Mp = 4,40), mientras que dentro de los desadaptativos el temerario fue el predominante (Mp = 2,08). En salud mental, la disfunción social constituyó la dimensión más afectada (M = 4,41). Respecto al consumo de alcohol, el 88,9% se ubicó en abstinencia o bajo riesgo. Se concluye que los conductores presentan un perfil conductual orientado a la precaución, con afectación psicosocial concentrada en la disfunción social y un patrón de consumo de alcohol mayoritariamente controlado. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: The present research aimed to analyze driving styles, mental health, and alcohol consumption among motorized drivers in Cotacachi. The study adopted a quantitative approach, with a descriptive scope and a non experimental cross sectional design, using a sample of 27 professional drivers. The MDSI, GHQ 28, and AUDIT instruments were applied. The results showed that the cautious adaptive style obtained the highest score (Mp = 4.40), while among the maladaptive styles, the reckless style was predominant (Mp = 2.08). In mental health, social dysfunction was the most affected dimension (M = 4.41). Regarding alcohol consumption, 88.9% were classified as abstinent or low risk. It is concluded that the drivers present a behavioral profile oriented toward caution, with psychosocial impairment concentrated in social dysfunction and a predominantly controlled pattern of alcohol consumption. | es_ES |
