Abstract: Abstract: The purpose of this research was to examine the reasoning behind a judgment issued by an Administrative Litigation District Court in Ecuador, in order to determine whether the decision's substantiation aligns with the standards of sufficient and correct reasoning established by the Constitution of the Republic, constitutional case law, and legal doctrine. A qualitative approach combined with the analytical method was employed for this study, as both allowed for a detailed examination of the argumentation structure within the ruling. This facilitated an analysis of the relationship between the facts of the case, the applicable legal norms, and the reasoning used by the Court to support its decision. The analysis revealed that the judgment is supported by clear, logical reasoning that is duly grounded in the legal framework, showing no inconsistencies or deficiencies that would compromise its validity. Consequently, it is concluded that the ruling meets due process requirements and reaffirms the importance of adequate reasoning as a safeguard for strengthening legal certainty, judicial transparency, and the effective protection of the parties' rights.
