Abstract: The purpose of this undergraduate thesis was to analyze driving styles, mental health, and alcohol consumption among thirty professional motorized drivers in the southern sector of Quito during 2025. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional, descriptive design. Three validated instruments were employed: the Multidimensional Driving Style Inventory (MDSI), the Goldberg General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28), and the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT). The results showed a predominance of adaptive styles, particularly the cautious style, although the aggressive style stood out among the maladaptive ones. Regarding mental health, the anxiety and insomnia dimension presented the highest level of impairment, followed by social dysfunction. In terms of alcohol consumption, the majority of participants fell into the low-risk category, although a segment with problematic consumption patterns was identified. It is concluded that, although the general profile is oriented toward road safety, manifestations of psychological distress and risky behaviors coexist, justifying specific interventions for this population.es_ES
