Abstract: Abstract: The gender gap in STEM areas (Science, technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in Ecuador persists despite global advances. Studies indicate that a minority of women within Ecuador choose STEM careers and that the initiatives for this gap to extinguish, are dispersed by being carried out by different entities whether they are, public, private or social purpose. The present work proposes a web technological tool, which helps to: centralize the information of the initiatives, identify through a geospatial representation where they are located and in which sites they are more focused and analyze their metadata through faceted filters. For the tool, a multilayer architecture based on open source technologies was designed, implementing a relational database engine with native support for spatial geometries (MariaDB) and serialization under the international GeoJSON standard. The presentation layer integrates the Leaflet.js library for interactive cartographic rendering and the optimized consumption of data from the server. The prototype was developed with 50 initiatives for its validation of: usability, accessibility and Performance. Thus demonstrating its viability.
