| Abstract: | Abstract: This research, titled Formative Inclinations of Law Students at the Faculty of Jurisprudence through the Examination of Judicial Precedents, falls within the scope of UTPL s structural puzzle initiative, which provides the conceptual and methodological framework. The study focuses its analysis on the reasoning behind judgments issued by trial-level judges in Ecuador, using Judgment No. 113332024XXXXX in the field of Civil Law as a case study. The fundamental purpose of this inquiry is to examine how constitutional justice ensures that judicial rulings are not merely arbitrary decisions but duly justified acts. Analyzing this precedent is crucial for students' legal training, as it allows for an assessment of whether trial-level judges meet the standards of relevance, sufficiency, and logical coherence required by the Constitution. The research determines that, while legal certainty and due process are fundamental theoretical pillars, the requirement for reasoned judgments in the Ecuadorian justice system faces the risk of becoming a mere rhetorical formality. It concludes that there is a pressing need to transform these guarantees into concrete actions that ensure effective and tangible judicial protection for citizens. |
