Análisis del perfil vocacional de estudiantes de bachillerato para carreras de STEAM

Abstract

Abstract: The Curriculum Integration Project presented here aims to examine the professional profile of high school students in Ecuador in relation to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) careers. Given the declining interest in these areas, the project seeks to identify the factors that influence career choice through the collection and analysis of specific information. Using data analysis techniques and interactive dashboards, the project aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of young people's motivations, interests, and perceptions, generating valuable information for creating more effective career guidance strategies. The research combines technical, investigative, and innovative aspects, relying on recognized methodologies such as OSEMN, and promotes the use of open data to support decision-making in educational institutions. The results will help strengthen the connection between the education system and the needs of the labor market, promoting training that better adapts to current challenges.
