Abstract: This paper conducts a comprehensive analysis of the pedagogical proposal in educational institutions, exploring how education impacts on the integral formation of young people beyond the simple transmission of knowledge, various perspectives are addressed, highlighting education as a social, participatory and liberating process, the methodology integrates a review of educational theories and an analysis of current pedagogical practices, highlighting the role of the student as an active participant in their learning, opportunities and challenges in the implementation of these practices are examined, including the accessibility of theoretical resources and the need for professional development for educators, crucial for a richer and more applicable understanding in varied educational contexts, the importance of adapting educational methodologies to the individual needs of students, promoting meaningful and personalized learning, the impact of these practices on the development of critical problem-solving skills, fundamental in today's society, is highlighted, this comprehensive approach also underlines the relevance of considering the cultural and socioeconomic contexts of students, ensuring a truly inclusive and equitable education.
