| Abstract: | Abstract: This Curricular Integration Work analyzes the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the audiovisual production of micro-videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok/Facebook Stories. In light of the rapid adoption of these technologies, this study investigated how their use modifies creative processes, whether it promotes aesthetic homogenization, and whether it serves as a tool that streamlines production processes. Through a qualitative approach, three methodological instruments were applied: a content analysis of leading technology channels (Jon Hernández and Platzi), semi-structured interviews with content creators, and the development of three audiovisual prototypes to measure cross-platform retention and interaction. The results demonstrate that AI acts as a highly efficient tool that optimizes mechanical tasks such as the generation of visual resources, subtitling, and synthetic voiceovers, representing a drastic time-saving in pre- and post-production. In conclusion, generative tools automate repetitive tasks but do not replace human creative direction. |
