Description: Con la estructuración del sistema de conservación para el cantón El Pangui se pretende proteger las áreas de conservación existentes así como también identificar otras posibles áreas que se encuentren dentro del cantón. Así mismo se busca la participación activa de los ciudadanos que de alguna forma se involucren para que este proyecto sea sostenible. Mediante el presente estudio se realizó un análisis ecológico, político y social de las seis áreas naturales del Cantón El Pangui, se hizo la representatividad de cada una de las áreas con respecto a los ecosistemas, y cobertura vegetal, se inventarió una serie de especies vegetales que están dentro de las áreas; así mismo se hizo la representación de las zonas donde podrían crearse futuras áreas o corredores biológicos. Finalmente se estableció una propuesta donde se plantea la composición y estructura del Sistema de Conservación cantonal, que permita fortalecer los planes y programas contemplados en los Planes de Desarrollo y Ordenamiento del cantón y sus parroquias, promoviendo el involucramiento de la mayor cantidad de actores, pero con una visión ecosistémica.
Whit the structuring of the conservation system for the municipality Pangui is sought to protect the existent conservation area as well as to identify other possible areas that are inside the canton. Likewise the active participation of the citizens is looked for or that in some way they are involved so that this project is sustainable. By means of the present study he was carried out an ecological, political and social analysis of the six natural areas of the canton The Pangui, the representativeness was made of each one of vegetable species that are inside the areas; likewise the representation of the areas was made where future areas or biological corridors could be created. Finally a proposal settled down where he thinks about the composition and structure of the System of cantonal Conservation that it allows to strengthen the plans and programs contemplated in the Plans of Development and Classification of the canton and parishes, promoting the participation of the biggest quantity in actors, but with a conservationist vision
