dc.descriptionLa Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja en su modalidad Abierta y a Distancia diseñó e impulsó un Plan de Innovación Educativa denominado: Desarrollo y Evaluación de una Experiencia Piloto de Mentoría con estudiantes de primer ciclo. La investigación ha permitido recopilar información sobre: las necesidades orientación de los estudiantes del primer ciclo de Modalidad Abierta ya Distancia y construir un modelo de mentoría sustentado en la realidad del estudiante a distancia de la UTPL, aspectos que servirán para diseñar la formación práctica de los estudiantes que se preparan en la titulación de Psicología e impulsar el mejoramiento de la calidad de los procesos de orientación académica, y el surgimiento de una cultura de acompañamiento, que favorezca el aprendizaje significativo. La investigación inició con un grupo experimental de 10 estudiantes de primer ciclo de Psicología la misma se basó en el marco teórico, metodología aplicada, observación, entrevistas, reuniones, encuestas y aplicación de distintos instrumentos brindados por la Universidad. El resultado conseguido en este programa de mentoría resalta el beneficio tanto para los estudiantes tanto de primer ciclo, como para los estudiantes que están culminando su carrera.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja in its Open and Distance mode, designed and launched a plan called Educational Innovation: Development and Evaluation of a Pilot Mentoring experience witundergraduate students of Higher Distance Education. Research has allowed to collect information on: the guidance needs of students of the first cycle of Open and Distance Modality and build a mentoring model supported by the reality of student distance UTPL aspects that used to design practical training students preparing for the degree of Psychology and promote the improvement of the quality of the processes of academic orientation, and the emergence of a culture of support, favoring the significant learning. The investigation began with a pilot group of 10 undergraduate students of Psychology it was based on the theoretical framework, methodology applied, observation, interviews, meetings, surveys and applying different instruments provided by the University. The result achieved in this mentoring program highlights the benefit to both students both first cycle, and students who are finishing their careers, and their active and voluntary participation stands.es_ES
